Hi all, here is a recipe that I hope you will enjoy.  You can substitute the homemade tortillas with the ones you can purchase at your local store.  Hard shell tortillas you best for this recipe.  You can also try making your own homemade tortillas which are a big part of Costa Rican culture and are easy to make if you have the tortilla mix which typically comes with instructions.

One of the most common things to do while cooking in Costa Rica is "Arreglar Frijoles", which translates to "Fixing beans".   The name comes from turning beans from a relatively boring flavor into a quite amazing taste, thus "fixing" them.  The process is simple but the results can be quite remarkable.  I hope you enjoy this recipe.
