One of the most common things to do while cooking in Costa Rica is "Arreglar Frijoles", which translates to "Fixing beans".   The name comes from turning beans from a relatively boring flavor into a quite amazing taste, thus "fixing" them.  The process is simple but the results can be quite remarkable.  I hope you enjoy this recipe.
Instructions - Arreglando Frijoles
You first start with a can of beans.  Put them in a pot with olive oil.  Set the stove at medium high.  Add onions, bell peppers, tomatoes  and garlic and stir for about 5 minutes.  Then add Lizano (if you want your beans spicy, you can also add chilero to taste).   This contains a significant amount of iquid so you will have to continue to stir every now and then until most of the liquid is evaporated.  After this let it sit for 10 minutes and serve.
1/2 Tomatoe (chopped)
15 oz can of beans
 2 oz Chopped Onions
 2 oz Bell Peppers
 4 tsp       Lizano sauce
 3 Tbsp Olive oil
1 tsp Garlic

Serves  two people
